I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix $ w* H l5 }2 t3 o2 N/ t5 a7 w: G0 z 0 l( M; L9 h9 `and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here f2 B/ v: i- P, m1 S
